The multilateral system established after World War II is obsolete and insufficient to address current challenges, such as tensions between major powers within regional blocks, inequalities, climate change, health issues resulting from a strained power struggle development pathways, politics, nature. It critical that we adapt the new political realities provide it with means respond contemporary while also reestablishing governance arrangements manage preserve our global commons. In addition governmental efforts, participation of parliaments, local governments, civil society, private sector crucial in achieving structural transformation creating culture inclusivity accountability through greater social decision-making. Implementing 2030 Agenda, Our Common Agenda report, outcomes international summits will allow us craft contract balancing needs economy, environment.
